Our Story

Camp Thimbleberry was born out of a love for natural science and children by environmental scientist, teacher and mother, Bryn Isaksen. She wanted to find a way to use her forested property to engage children in learning and fun, while getting to work close with friends and family for the glory of God. Camp Thimbleberry is a place for just that- a blend of nature, childhood whimsy, story and art, games and summer memories in the making all while keeping Christ's love and God's handiwork at the forefront of our minds. May we all take time to be like children, in wonder of the world given to us.

Matthew 18:2-5: "He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: 'Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.'"
