Parking Protocol

Living in the woods has its quirks

• Camp Thimbleberry is located on private residential property and has a single lane road in and out of the camp. To navigate many vehicles entering and exiting around the same time we must stick to a schedule for arrivals and departures.

• Parking: There is parking at the very end of the drive. Please be mindful to park in rows so we can accommodate as many cars as possible.

• Drop off: All vehicles must strive to arrive at camp by 9 am. You can arrive as early as 8:45 am. Check in will be swift but lines are inevitable! All vehicles must wait to leave the camp until 9:15. We will ensure the road is clear and have all cars leave at the same time. If you are unable to arrive before 9:10, you must wait until 9:25 to enter (assuming all other cars have cleared out).

• Pick up: You may arrive before the 1:00 pm or 4:00 pm pick up times, but please plan on staying until 1:15 or 4:15 for departure. If you are unable to arrive before 1:10 or 4:10, you will need to wait until 1:25 or 4:25 to enter (assuming all other cars have cleared out).

• Extended care pick up: if possible, please let us know if you plan on using extended care in the morning and an approximate time you plan on picking up. If the pick up time coincides with another family, we will address it to ensure a safe and easy drive in and out. If you are in need of an unplanned extended care, we ask that you call when you know your approximate pick-up time so we can ensure no other vehicles will be leaving as you arrive.
